WHAT WE DO

Our goals include further education and the advancement of women to help them overcome physical, emotional and financial issues.

Oasis Rescue believes in helping women in troubled, post conflict and economically depressed areas, build a bridge from where they are now to where they want to go. The beauty industry provides an income for millions of people throughout the world and is considered by many cultures to be one of the most appropriate women-owned businesses.

We are constantly striving to find new ways to train women in areas where daily problems make life very difficult, such as little or no access to electricity, high levels of unemployment, lack of security and low morale.

By partnering with different organizations in countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan and Pakistan, Oasis Rescue is able to distribute its training programs and tools without incurring high start up costs. This means that donations that we receive are put entirely into our projects. Also, members of our board work purely on a volunteer basis.

Adaptable, Flexible and Accessible
Along with our training programs, Oasis Rescue is occasionally called upon to assist specific individual women with educational needs. When women have been abandoned, neglected and/or abused, Oasis Rescue is able to provide interim support to help them have access to counselling and educational programs.
